Assignment 4

For the ineffective market system, i would like to talk about I-Cable TV. In i-cable tv web page, i cannot find out any details information even i had click in to touch the follow. I cannot login and see introduction about what i need. For example, i want to book a regular maintenance day and time, but i could not check in internet and confirm the days and time, their technician only call me by phone. Also, i couldn't cehck my bill payment every months. Also when i need to check my services or what channel i had got, i absolutely need to take several minutes convensation with their customer manager or voice mail to identify i am client. Therefore, it is not convenience for client to take their future planning.


For effective market system, i would like to choose cathy pacific. In aircraft company, the system is most importance to client to check what they need. For example, client could check the tickets and the money, it also can buy the ticket by the internet. Also check the flight day , times and check in desk by internet and it can save client's time to do the difficult thing. It also can decrease mistake when do it in the airport. Aircraft company can depends on the seat to upgrade and inform client enjoy the services.

Firstly, make a decesion fly destination, Secondly, when to departure, the detail date and time. Thirdly
Which airline to choose and which type of class prefer. Also to check if it has any discount by relationship
with airline employee. Finally, leave the detail name and ID no. of passenger and fully address and telephone.
Also e-mail contact if necessary.

Firstly, to check the miles point in account and ensure the point could or could not exchange for tickets.
Secondly, to keep eyes on the exchange for which kind of tickets and where could be the destination.
Thirdly, check if it has any possible seat and which type of class
Finally, check the miles point need extract free or not.

To completing a flight, firstly confirm all details information which give to airline.
Secondly, choose the way of e-ticket or flight ticket. Thirdly, choose the check in procedures
Fourtly, check the passport expiry or not
Fifthly, keep look at the borading pass details and make sure correctly.

CRM can improve the staff increase their efficiency, when sales tem get the client data, all information could be show to client easily. It is easy for the sales staff to deal with the client request. For example, clients is easy to check their flight by e-mail and sale staff could show them the important thing. Also client could through CRM system to choose what they their services request. Such as they can choose their meal, a vegetarian or not. Clients can request the seat according the selection. Sales staff can provide more data for the destination. Such as the weather and the time when arrival. Of course client can request their entertainment during the flying period. CRM system totally solve the request from different client have different needs by only a click at computer.

Question 2

CRM system could share all information to both sales, marketing and customer parties. Using a single software package could take the benefit for sales staff to take the follow up action after selling. As sale can check the system information and found out what the problem and solve the problem for clients immediately. For marketing staff, staff could check the cleints information and make any possible cold call, send a e-mail to remine clients about the company exist or may send a birthday card to clients and make a good relationship, a good relationship with clients could get more referral clients one by one. Eventually, the benefit to customer is to ensure what services cleint got afte accept the sale. clients could easily to found out what the take te services by checing e-mail and any possible services request

The system can correct clients details information and show the perfectly funding structure. On the other hands, the system could easily for clients invest share. To sell and buy share connect a computer and the system could show the market price at once. Clients could be easy and fast to make the decesion for their funding. Also, the system could post the new product of funding. Client could check it on computer and make sure which one suitable. Finally, the web site can help clients handle their cash transaction. For example, clients can check their money account, it can help clients do any payment such as credit payment and bill payment. This company chinavasion is the company which i have had used. The compnay choose the network for the company business foundation. They use information system to collect clients detail information, such as their address, account, name and telephone number. The business help clients purchase their interest and the unique electric product. The company show their new product on the web site and clients choose it and purchase it between the computer. Chinavasion had correct clients information, therefore, clients purchase by credit card and recieved by air mail or ship mail. Also they can check the details in the web site account to ensure which product they order, when the product received and how much they paid. Those step absolutely no need client action and the only action for them is make a click.
The system achieving excellent operation and also develop how to show their new product. For example, all the electric product post on the same page, when clients search the new product, the other auxiliary product will be show in fornt of the electric product. Such as a camera and a camera lens. The system handle a lot of order everyday and it also send clients a e-mail to remine their existence.

Acording to the demo, all of sales department and warehouse department need to
use the order-to-delivery process.

The Steps of Order-to-Delivery process are as follows:

for Sales deptment:

Firstly, sales staff receive order from their customer
and then sale staff use sap system to follow and check the inventory for client.
After confirm the stock, sale department will send it to Warehouse department.
Secondly, warehouse manager received purchase order form sales, clearly drop down
the details imformation such as item nos, customer ship address. Also use a pick & pack
manager within system for further checking. Warehouse manager will send the imformation
to the shipping staff. They will updated the detail date for ship and sales department can check it
easily and e-mail to customer and confirm the stock they received.

Question 3

I disagree a small business to use the ERP

Firstly, to install the system, it need to spend a large of money. Small business could not cover the buddget by their business finally. Secondly, it is easy to make mistake when shipping staff take a wrong type update to sale department. Small business would not employer more than two or three employee to make a double checking after they confirm the imformation. Finally, sales department need to tranferr the imformation to warehouse department and eventually send it to shipping staff. It is too difficult to handle by a small business. Small business will skip the second step and directly from sale department send the details to shipping department. The staff needs to manage the warehouse stock progress. It will increase opportunity of mistake.
